Association for Women in Marketing (PAWM) is a network created to educate, inspire, connect and recognize women in the marketing and associated professions through the cycle of their professional lives. PAWM takes a holistic approach to the education and wellbeing of women through collaborations and partnerships with organizations that complement our work. From women working in large corporations, charitable organizations through to female entrepreneurs, PAWM reflects the evolution of the marketing world.
Tariq Asmat- known as a trailblazer of marketing discipline in Lahore and founder of Marketing Associates & Professionals Pakistan (MAP), out of a need for women in the industry to be recognized, celebrated and empowered to fulfil their potential. This led to Asmat conceiving and delivering the first PAWM event to be held on September 9, 2023 at one of the top clubs in town Royal Palm Golf & Country Club, Lahore. PAWM agenda is to hold events on topics such as ethical marketing, the creative, technology, branding and diversity in marketing, with the purpose of provoking discussion and inspiring women in the industry and the wider business community.
The popularity of the events MAP Coffee Connection led to the introduction of the first PAWM event.
MAP Coffee Connection has evolved over the past few months as the leading marketer’s event and talk of the industry, and now serves as a network of influential marketing individuals across the sector.

Is marketing a good career for a female?
In many cases, marketing jobs for women place less emphasis on hours worked and more emphasis on completed projects that yield results. As long as you're doing your job and doing it well, you'll also be able to prioritize personal responsibilities or just enjoy a change of scenery while on the job.

Is marketing a difficult job?
Marketing can be a tough gig, it's overwhelming the long list of expectations that can be put on you to be an "expert" at. But also, Marketing is cool, you can pretty much change careers without really changing careers IF you can manage to convince someone to hire you.

Why am I interested in marketing?
Marketing is the ideal field for those who like to take on new challenges and think outside the box. It requires creative thinking, the ability to solve complex problems, and a knack for looking at things from different angles to find new ways of doing things.
